Introducing BattleCard: Battle Cards Built From Real Trenches Data

No hand-set stats, no arbitrary rarities. Every BattleCard's HP/ATK/DEF/SPD comes straight from a Graduated token's real market cap, volume, and holder count. Try the demo at /battlecard.

Trenches already tells you which tokens on Robinhood Chain have Graduated, how big they've gotten, and how many holders they have. BattleCard takes that same real data and turns it into something you can play with: a card, with stats, that you can put up against another card in a battle.

What BattleCard is

No card's stats are hand-set. HP comes from market cap, ATK from 24h trading volume, DEF from holder count, and SPD from the token's volume-to-market-cap turnover ratio. A token that's actually doing more on Trenches produces a stronger card -- the game is a reflection of real activity, not a separate system with its own made-up numbers.

Which tokens get a card

A token needs to clear three bars before it's eligible:

  • Status: Graduated on Trenches.
  • All-time-high market cap at or above a minimum threshold (currently around $100K, tunable).
  • Holder count at or above a minimum threshold (currently around 200, tunable).

That ATH figure is pulled from a dedicated per-token lookup rather than Trenches' bulk feed, which frequently doesn't carry a reliable ATH for tokens at this stage. A token that pumped hard and cooled off still gets credited for the peak it actually reached.

Battling

Pick any two eligible cards on /battlecard and hit Battle. Each card's combined power score is compared, with a small amount of random variance layered on top of both sides -- enough that a smaller card can occasionally pull an upset, without power stopping to matter. The two cards then play through a short charge-and-clash animation before the winner is revealed; that part is just presentation, the outcome is already decided by the time it plays.

Warning

BattleCard is a demo today. There's no wallet requirement to battle, no card minting, and nothing at stake. Read BattleCard Roadmap: What's Demo Today vs. What's Being Explored for exactly where that line sits.

Try it now at /battlecard -- every card on the page is built from Trenches data at the moment you load it.
