Signing into QUVR doesn't ask for an email or a password, and it doesn't cost gas. It asks your wallet to sign a message.
What SIWE is
Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) is a standard for proving you control a wallet address without moving any funds or granting any spending approval. Your wallet presents a plain-text message; signing it is cryptographic proof of control, nothing more.
Why there's no gas
A signature isn't a transaction -- it never touches the chain, so there's nothing to pay for. QUVR verifies the signature against your address off-chain to establish your session.
What your identity is
Your wallet address is the whole account. There's no separate QUVR-issued username tying it together, and no additional signup step -- your Watchlist, Portfolio, and History are all just views of what's already true on-chain for that address.
